Bollo (Tobias Bolliger) is a Bern-based Swiss graphic designer. The practice of Studio Bollo revolves around self-initiated and commissioned projects, ranging from art direction and design of visual identities to posters, typography, type design, moving and interactive media and websites. The studio works in collaborations and interdisciplinary projects with institutions and individuals, to create a dialog between society, culture and design. The work of Studio Bollo was featured and presented on several platforms, including Slanted Publishers (Karlsruhe, DEU), Spector Books (Leipzig, DEU), Neubad (Luzern, CH) and Hightone Publishing (Hongkong, CHN). Bollo gave lectures at the Bern Academy of the Arts, HKB and was interviewed by It’s Nice That Magazine (London, GB) and Communication Arts Magazine (Belmont, California). His work was presented in exhibitions of Kunsthalle Bern and Visarte. Next to artists and musicians from Switzerland and Europe, clients of Studio Bollo include cultural institutions like Videoex Experimental Film & Video Festival (Zürich, CH), concert venue Dachstock (Bern, CH) and media production company Only Child (London, GB).
